Reverse osmosis (RO) is a process that separates solute and solvent . This done by forcing a solvent (hard water) through a-permeable membrane that filters the solute (minerals) and allows the pure solvent (soft water) to pass though.

Do I need to use Reverse Osmosis?

A typical RO system will consist od the following:

• Self cleaning Reverse Osmosis membrane
• Flush Kit
• Pressure Gauge
• 5 micron sediment pre filter
• Solid carbon block filter
• Refilable DI (deionization) Filter (POD)
• Feed valve
• Saddle clamp for the discharge water
• Tubing.
